Speaker A:If you're not on Apple Music, then you can just type in the artist and the name of the song and find it wherever you listen to music.
Speaker A:Okay, so here we go.
Speaker A:Here we go.
Speaker A:I'm going to share these 10 songs with you.
Speaker A:I can tell you that when I share songs, which I don't do all the time, but I do on occasion, people love finding music that other people are listening to that maybe they haven't discovered before.
Speaker A:Sometimes there are already artists that you're listening to, but maybe there's newer songs that you haven't heard from that artist.
Speaker A:So let me dive right in.
Speaker A:And obviously for rights reasons, I can't share snippets of the music with you on here because I don't have that lined up or worked out, but I will share with you the name of the song and the artist.
Speaker A:Okay, so there's a couple songs that I'm really enjoying by Christian singer Jervis Campbell.
Speaker A:The first is Testify and then another one is called Stuck in the Clouds and the third one by him is True North.
Speaker A:All three of those are just, I don't know, they're just good music, good lyrics, upbeat.
Speaker A:And I have created an album called Upbeat Faith because my other Faith album has a mix of stuff in it.
Speaker A:But this one, it's the album I want to listen to when I want to be in a good mood and I just want To I just want to be kind of get re centered and I just want to worship God.
Speaker A:And so those are.
Speaker A:Those are the first couple.
Speaker A:And then there is a song that Jervis Campbell and Josiah Queen sing together called Alone with you that I really, really enjoyed.
Speaker A:And let me see here.
Speaker A:And then another one by just Josiah Queen is My Promised Land, which is really good.
Speaker A:And then, let's see.
Speaker A:And then Leanna Crawford, she.
Speaker A:You, many of you might have heard her song that she sang, it's probably been years, called Still Waters, and it talks about Psalm 23 in the actual song.
Speaker A:But two of her songs that I'm enjoying right now are Make it through and Looking for you.
Speaker A:And then the two other ones are it's no Fear by John Reddick.
Speaker A:And you may have heard that one before.
Speaker A:I know that one's probably on K Love and things like that pretty often.
Speaker A:And then the last one that I want to share today is by Cochrane & Co.
Speaker A:And it's money Can't Buy.
Speaker A:It starts out a little slower, but then the beat really gets going and, you know, just another powerful song.
Speaker A:But these are the 10 songs that I wanted to come on and share with you.
Speaker A:And there's plenty of scripture in the Bible that talks about praising God with dancing or song or making melody.
Speaker A:And so I'll just share one or two of those with you.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:One is in Psalm 149,3, it says, Let them praise his name with dancing, making melody to him with tambourine and lyre.
Speaker A:Another One is Psalm 95, 1, which is, oh, come, let us sing to the Lord.
Speaker A:Let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
Speaker A:Okay, and then another one that's not in Psalm, because there's a lot.
Speaker A:Lots of those is, let's see, you know, popular one we've probably all heard is Ecclesiastes 3, 4, which part, you know, it says, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance.
Speaker A:And in Exodus:Speaker A:But throughout the Bible we see examples of dancing and singing or using musical instruments to praise the Lord and to worship.
Speaker A:And so I just think that when we can find music that helps us do that, it's just such a lovely thing to add into our day when we.
Speaker A:We feel like listening to music.
Speaker A:So like I said, today's a short episode.
Speaker A:I just wanted to come on and share those.
Speaker A:And most importantly, today's episode will just let you go into my show notes right below this episode and click the link to my Upbeat Mute Upbeat Faith playlist.
