Hey, and welcome to Tackling the Tech.
Kristin Fitch:Making Technology simple for you.
Kristin Fitch:I wanted to let you know why I started this podcast and how I think it can help you.
Speaker B:Hey there, friends.
Speaker B:Welcome to Tackling the Tech, the show for all of us who don't consider ourselves tech geniuses.
Speaker B:I'm your host, Kristin Fitch, a tech savvy guide with 20 years of experience making tech simple and helping you master it with ease.
Speaker B:Each week, I'll guide you through simple tips, tools, and tricks to master your gadgets, apps, and even AI without all the confusing jargon.
Speaker B:From organizing your phone and conquering Gmail to using AI tools that save you hours, we're here to help your tech work for you so you can spend more time doing what you love.
Speaker B:So grab your coffee, your devices, and let's tackle your tech together because you've got this.
Speaker B:All right, my answer's twofold.
Kristin Fitch:The first reason I started the podcast was because over the last 20 plus years, I've just found that myself and my husband and his own circles were the people that others would ask how to do something.
Kristin Fitch:How do you do this on your phone?
Kristin Fitch:How do you do this on your computer?
Kristin Fitch:What's a good solution for this challenge that I have?
Kristin Fitch:And so the first was what I found is that I'm very good at looking at technology and figuring out how to use it or assessing things quickly.
Kristin Fitch:Apps, tools, knowing if it's intuitive or if it's easy to use, is it laid out well.
Kristin Fitch:And from there, I would also assess a lot of different things.
Kristin Fitch:And so one is I want to bring that knowledge and that experience and that natural inclination that I have to other people.
Kristin Fitch:I want to make tech simple for you so that we can use tech to empower and enrich our lives, not let tech drive us crazy or keep us from actually living.
Kristin Fitch:The second reason is that when I have taken a little extra time to learn how to really set my phone up or a certain app or different things on my computer, my life runs better.
Kristin Fitch:In other words, when I take the time to use tools the way they're intended or to add tools to my life, I'm able to do more in less time so that I have more free time to do work that has meaning or spend time with people I care about.
Kristin Fitch:And so I have personally found so much power in using technology to benefit my life that I also want to share those things with you.
Kristin Fitch:And we're not just going to talk about only how to use tech and how to make it simple, how to make our phones work for us or what apps are best, how to use AI to do things like find a job, optimize your resume to help save time if you need to do marketing messages or just for your personal life, what are ideas for how you can clean your house in less time?
Kristin Fitch:I mean, we can do use it for so many things.
Kristin Fitch:And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Kristin Fitch:I'm also going to bring stories to you and ideas for how we can step away from our digital devices for a little bit so that we really can live our best lives.
Kristin Fitch:And so we're going to sprinkle those types of episodes in as well.
Kristin Fitch:And so I just wanted to come on today and invite you in, ask you, come on this journey of tackling the tech in your life to making tech simple for you so that you live a richer, more beautiful life, the one that you really want.
Kristin Fitch:And let's let technology help us do that.
Kristin Fitch:And in case you're still wondering, I don't know, is this podcast for me or not, I wanted to share with you who it's really for and what you can expect.
Kristin Fitch:All right, who is it for?
Kristin Fitch:It's really for anyone that wants to learn how to use AI apps, technology in their phone more.
Kristin Fitch:They want to understand how to use it and make it work for them.
Kristin Fitch:But it's also for people that are just busy and don't have time to go research how do I use the productivity setting on my phone?
Kristin Fitch:Because in an episode, sometimes there'll be short episodes.
Kristin Fitch:We'll just talk through how to do something.
Kristin Fitch:We'll have tips on what are the best apps for productivity, how do you master your smartphone, what is AI and how can you use it?
Kristin Fitch:What are your, what are the top AI tools that you can use?
Kristin Fitch:So it'll be so much content and it's be in a format that's easy to understand for people that aren't necessarily tech savvy, but other people that are tech savvy can still get so much out of this podcast as well.
Kristin Fitch:Also, I'll have tons of solo episodes that we'll be walking through, recommendations and how to do things.
Kristin Fitch:But I'm also going to have guests on we're going to have guests on that are going to share with us power of apps and tools and how to use them and the benefit of them.
Kristin Fitch:But we'll also have guests on that talk about stepping away more regularly from their devices and doing some amazing things.
Kristin Fitch:And so it'll be both encouraging and inspiring, but it'll also be a very much practical how to show as well.
Kristin Fitch:And I want guest participation.
Kristin Fitch:I want to hear from you.
Kristin Fitch:I want to know what are your questions.
Kristin Fitch:What kind of tech do you need help with?
Kristin Fitch:What kind of tech do you want me to review or talk about or help with suggestions or tips or how to guides?
Kristin Fitch:So I'd love to hear from you.
Kristin Fitch:And you can head over to KristenFitch.com Tech and you can actually ask me any questions, send me suggestions for show.
Speaker B:Or episode topics or guests.
Kristin Fitch:I would love to hear from you.
Kristin Fitch:Okay, some of the first episodes that I'm going to release are going to be what's AI and how can it actually help you?
Kristin Fitch:We're going to talk about mastering your smartphone, seven features that you might not be using.
Kristin Fitch:We're going to talk about some of the best free tech tools to save you time and money.
Kristin Fitch:We're going to talk about decluttering your digital life and how to stop mindlessly scrolling and make your phone work for you.
Kristin Fitch:And we're going to talk about how can you use chat GTP for everyday.
Speaker B:Life can be things I mentioned earlier.
Kristin Fitch:Look, you're looking for a new job.
Kristin Fitch:Maybe you want to update your LinkedIn profile, maybe you want ideas for new jobs to, you know, careers to step into.
Kristin Fitch:We can do so many things with it, so we're going to go over some of those things as well.
Kristin Fitch:So I can't wait to join you in this way and share so much with you that I hope instead of feeling worried or frustrated or not having the time to learn how to use technology, I'm hoping that I can give you the confidence and curiosity to to do just that.
