On today’s episode Kristin talks about the state of the world- the constant fear that is being spun, the censorship, and rights being threatened, parental rights being challenged, possible military conflict with other countries, masks, mandates and even religious freedoms and free speech and viewpoints are being threatened. During such hard, dark days it’s sometimes hard to know what we can do- well God tells us we can pray- we can turn away from sin and we can ask him to heal our lands- well that is one thing we can do- we can ask God to fight for us- to fight for our families and our land and our rights- he is bigger than anything we are walking through right now but we have to turn towards him to fight for us.

We should stand up but we must also take to our knees and pray for him to fight these battles for us.

Kristin also shares ideas from Pastor Mark Batterson about how we prayer is how we get God to fight for us.

It takes steadfastness to be faithful in following God. We are told to be patient, have endurance, bee immovable and steadfast in our faith and trust of the Lord. I discuss how those things are also called Grit and I think God is calling us to develop more of it.

There are many stories in th bible of endurance, patient and perserverance like Noah, Abraham and Sara and Jesus.

So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless. 1 Corinthians 15:58

Now more than ever more Americans don’t believe God does miracles or intervenes in their lives. Last night I went to see the Christian Movie Jesus Revolution based on revivals that took place from 1968 to 1972 in California for people finding Jesus and Christianity. It was a good movie and I share the take-aways I got from the movie that are relevant to all of us today.

It can be hard to lift it up to the Lord- our privisions, our problems, and our sruggles but when we stop trying to make decisions, and outcomes happen in our timing and with only our might we are often frustrated and disappointed but when we partner with God and allow him to guide us, and provide and plan our lives are transformed for the better.
