  • Ep 20: You are Exactly Where God Wants to Use You Right Now

On today’s episode Kristin talks about God’s right time and right place-that we are exactly where God will use us for his purpose and how we can get discouraged in our job or current situation or neighborhood or other circumstance and that often it takes reframing our situation to see that if we show up where we are with an open heart, and ready to serve we wil often see the impact we are meant to have right now not in the next job or next place or when the next opportunity arrives. Of course we all want life to happen on our timing but often we get impatient and want the next door to open, or a different job before it’s time. This is a great episode about allowing ourselves to be used for God’s purpose right here right now.

  • S2 Ep 9: Listening to Your Soul’s Deepest Desires and Following the Bread Crumbs

In today’s episode Kristin talks to Anyssa Lucina, a Women’s Climbing Coach and founder of the Confident Climbers Club an online community for women, about following the bread crumbs to find out your soul’s deepest desires and then how do you build a life around that.

Kristin and Anyssa talk about how to overcome your fears, how to shift your mindset and the importance of having self-compassion and listening to the urges pulling you towards something more.

Anyssa helps when overcome fears, limiting beliefs and realize they can do anything and climbing allows them to do something they love while growing and developing themselves in life.

This is a great episode that is inspiring and shows us we don’t need to see the whole path but we do need to take the first step (or climb) and be open to where the next step may lead us and usually it’s to a more joyful, fulfilling life.

  • Ep18: Give Glory to God & Are You Missing the God Winks in Your Life?

On today’s episode Kristin talks about a signal she got from God this week witha message to Give Gloryto God. She shares her story and shares scripture about Giving Glory to God in our day, work and lives. She also talks about God winks, or God nudges and God appointments and how we often miss them because we are so busy and rushing. We also can miss God winks because we aren’t open to seeing them or willing to notice who is beside us, what message is right in front of us or whatsomeone speaks into us.

This is an encouraging message about Giving the Glory to God and why we should pay more attention to the people, things and words all around us. God still performs miracles and still gives signs but often we miss them because they can be whispers, or subtle signals.

  • S2 Ep 8: How to Reach Your Goals Sooner and with Less Effort

On today’s solo episode Kristin talks about how we can use a few simple rules and ideas to focus on doing the 1 main thing that will help us achieve our goal or the results we want sooner and how pairing down our to-do list to the top action we can take will result in more productivity and get projects done sooner and with less effort.

Kristin talks about a concept discussed in the book Effortless by Greg McKeown called Minimum Viable Actions and using Microbursts of effort to identify the first step in a project and get it done and how this can help you move from planning, thinking about the entire project and get moving. It also helps you eliminate the the other steps that don’t need to be done right now to clear your path for progress.

Another helpful Rule Kristin shares is Pareto’s Law or Rule or the 80/20 rule and how we can use that concept to narrow down our main thing, our main goal and the main action we can take today and the next. Kristin shares a few ideas from the book The One Thing by Gary Keller about focusing on the first domino which can be the smallest because if you get the first one going it will knock down the next one and the next and each consecutive domino (goal) can knock down one 50% bigger than the one before it- it’s a fascinating concept you can apply to your work or personal life to reach your results sooner and with less busyness.

  • Ep 17: What Can We Do During These Chaotic, Strange Times? Pray Bigger

On today’s Spark of Faith episode Kristin talks about the state of the world- the constant fear that is being spun, the censorship, and rights being threatened, parental rights being challenged, possible military conflict with other countries, masks, mandates and even religious freedoms and free speech and viewpoints are being threatened. During such hard, dark days it’s sometimes hard to know what we can do- well God tells us we can pray- we can turn away from sin and we can ask him to heal our lands- well that is one thing we can do- we can ask God to fight for us- to fight for our families and our land and our rights- he is bigger than anything we are walking through right now but we have to turn towards him to fight for us. We should stand up but we must also take to our knees and pray for him to fight these battles for us.

Kristin also shares ideas from Pastor Mark Batterson about how we prayer is how we get God to fight for us.
